Amy Pranger

Amy Pranger
NAHRA Certified Instructor
EAGALA Trained Equine Specialists

Amy started as one of our Trail Wranglers in the summer of 2003. Since then, she has become one of our volunteers, weekend chore workers and boarders. Her horse experience began as a kid with the family Morgans, and continued with lessons at Whitecap Mountain in Upson, WI. Although formal arena training wasn't available, lessons on the trail were very educational!

Amy has since become the proud owner of Trinity's own Tough Boston Nite (aka Jake), and co-adopter of Dakota, a young QH gelding with quite the background. She has been working with Dakota since the summer of '06, and they are finally under saddle and looking forward to a future of team penning and cattle work. Come on out to Trinity, she'd be happy to meet you!

Karen Supple

Karen Supple
Volunteer Coordinator

I "found" Trinity in 2004 through another volunteer. I hadn't been on a horse in twenty years! I started out by wrangling on the trail rides and then started helping out with birthday parties, large gatherings, sprucing up the place, stable cleaning, Family Fun Day, etc.

I have adored horses since I was 7 years old and actually owned my own quarter horse mare for 15 years, but didn't ride very often. It wasn't until I came to Trinity, after retiring, that my love for horses really blossomed. The reason for this was a wonderful black quarter horse named McQ. He took such good care of me on trail and never, ever let me down. Although I love the riding part, it's the absolutely wonderful camaraderie and friendship that I've found at Trinity that is so important to me. I absolutely love being there and will do just about any chore so that I can be there!

The owners make me feel like I was born into their family and I consider the other volunteers to be precious new friends. Trinity is the best place in the world!

Marge Fortun

Marge Fortun
Event Coordinator

Marge Having loved horses all my life, I was thrilled to join TEC's volunteer team in 2004. I have enjoyed being part of everything at Trinity, including helping Jan clean stalls, being a wrangler for weekend trail rides, taking the lead in special events, birthday parties and all the wonderful activities and programs that TEC hosts. At Trinity, when you become a volunteer, its like joining their family. We share many meals, many gatherings, our immense love of horses, an overwhelming desire to serve our community, and a sincere fellowship that truly is soul-food for me. In addition, I have simply fallen in love with Woody, one of Trinity's donated horses, who has become one of my best friends and constant companion. Life is so much fun at Trinity, I want them to adopt me.
