Henry Blackaby, in his book Experiencing God, tells us to look around and see where God is working and then join Him there. According to statistics, contemporary country music is the most popular music genre in the Chippewa Valley. And two huge Country Music festivals happen in the Valley.

This year, three of the five songs nominated for “Song of the Year” by both the Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association have Christian messages: Believe by Brooks and Dunn, Jesus Take the Wheel by Carrie Underwood, and When I Get Where I'm Going by Brad Paisley & Dolly Parton.

The Academy of Country Music awarded Jesus Take the Wheel as “Single of the Year”, Believe as “Song of the Year”, and When I Get Where I’m Goin’” as “Video of the Year” AND “Vocal Event of the Year”. The Country Music Association awarded Believe as “Song of the Year”, “Single of the Year and “Music Video of the Year” and When I Get Where I’m Goin’ as “Musical Event of the Year”.

We believe and see that God IS at work in country music and we want to join Him there.

Boots ‘n Bibles is an inter-denominational outreach of believers in Jesus Christ who enjoy contemporary country and gospel music. We believe that music is a powerful way of helping people understand God’s truth in their lives. Boots ‘n Bibles combines the best country music with a “kickin” ten piece country band, great old Gospel music and a short message based on one of today’s favorite country hits.

Our prayer is that churches throughout the Chippewa Valley (as well as elsewhere) will join together in unity in this outreach to people who love country music but probably don’t go to church. We would welcome all those who feel that GOD has called them to be a part of this unique outreach.

If you enjoy Country and Gospel music, are looking for a fun and meaningful afternoon, or are just looking to understand life a little better, than Boots ‘n Bibles is for you.
