About our stable…
Trinity Equestrian Center is located 4 miles south of Eau Claire on Highway 37 (exit #65 off I-94). We have a 17-stall barn with two outdoor arenas and a heated indoor arena with a lounge and observation area. We offer a comfortable and clean environment. Parents, the coffee pot is always on!

About our lesson horses…
Our lesson string is one of the safest in the area. Our lesson horses are chosen based on the pureness of their head and heart. Great care is taken in the selection.

How do I know if lessons are for me?
If you always wanted to learn to ride safe and gentle horses in a supportive and comfortable setting, then lessons at Trinity are for you. Students can go on to enjoy horse ownership knowing everything that it encompasses.

What is the best age to start?
Parents are probably the best judge of a child’s ability to learn, their attention span, and overall maturity. Most children handle lessons well around the age of seven. It’s never too late to start. We accommodate adult beginners as well.
Is experience necessary?
No. Most of our students are beginners with little or no experience. This is actually preferred as it leaves a clean slate to learn the correct methods before bad habits are developed.

Do I need to own a horse?
No. One of our safe lesson horses will be selected for you based on your ability, size, and experience. If you own a horse and prefer to trailer to our facility for a lesson, arrangements can be made.

How many students are in a class?
For safety reasons and student dynamics we generally limit each class to six students. This also allows for individual attention where needed. Back to the top.
Will I be with other students my age?
Every effort will be made to match the age and ability of the students within the lesson groups.
What will I need to bring?
We provide the horses and helmets, so all you need are your cowboy boots (no laced boots please), jeans, and a willing attitude. Cold pop and snacks are available from a vending machine in the lounge. You are encouraged to bring cold water in a sport bottle for your needs during the lesson.
How much do lessons cost?
Private lessons are $40 per hour. Group lessons (2 or more students) are $40 for a two hour lesson.
How often will I have lessons?
This depends on your schedule and budget. Lessons are recommended on a weekly or every over week basis; however, we are able to accommodate any schedule.
When are lessons offered?
Riding lessons are offered year round. Our instructors offer a variety of times to fit your schedule. Because our instructors’ lesson programs are very popular, summer lesson schedules fill up very quickly. We urge our students to call early to arrange the times that work best for them.
What happens if I need to cancel?
To avoid cancellation charges, we ask that you contact us at least 48 hours before your lesson. This allows us adequate time to fill your time slot. No shows or cancellations less than 48 hours in advance will be billed for the entire lesson fee.
What will my parents do during my lesson?
With two hour lesson schedules most parents choose to run errands, stay and read a book, take a walk, enjoy a movie on our big screen in the lounge, or just sit and enjoy the scenery and watch their students from the lounge.

How do I know what kind of lesson to ask for?
When you call Trinity, we will ask you what you are most interested in learning. Your answers will tell us which type of lesson would suit you best and which instructor would help you the most.
