Lisa received her social work bachelor’s degree at UW- Eau Claire and completed her master’s degree in social worker at UW-Madison. Lisa has worked with children, youth and families in the mental health field for almost 20 years. This includes working as a lead therapist in residential treatment, outpatient mental health, day treatment, in home family therapy and most recently as a supervisor for Foster Care Services, which provides therapeutic services for youth in out of home care. Areas of concentration include: attachment, grief and loss, trauma informed care, child and adult mental health disorders, foster and adoptive families; she takes a team approach in treating clients. Lisa has completed EAGALA training, Part I. Lisa joined the Trinity team in February, 2014. “TRINITY is an amazing place for healing – with horses and God, and through healthy relationships. This alternative approach to therapy is powerful and effective for people facing trauma, loss and other life struggles.”
