Lessons

With decades of experience, our instructors offer beginners through advanced riders lessons in a variety of disciplines including horsemanship, halter, jumping, pleasure, and performance. Lessons are given in an atmosphere of respect, patience, encouragement and fun, by instructors who know what it takes to reach your riding goals, and who passionately love instructing.

Our goal is not only to produce a skilled, safe, and responsible rider, but to nurture the 'person' by encouraging, challenging, and fueling their love of horses. We offer lessons year round in our indoor heated and outdoor arenas for ages six years and up.

Lesson Fees:

• One and a half hour group lessons are $40

Amy Pranger

Amy Pranger
PATH International Certified Instructor
EAGALA Certified Equine Specialists

Amy has been at Trinity Equestrian Center in one form or another since the summer of 2003. Starting as part of the Trail Wrangler lineup, her involvement expanded over time to many more of Trinity's programs. Amy currently serves as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor, Equine Specialist, and Lesson Instructor for beginner and intermediate riders.

"When I first got involved with the therapy programs, I was blown away by the impact and changes that I saw in the participants. I am proud to say that, years later, there are still so many days that I end the day shaking my head and saying 'Whoa, that was cool'. I enjoy the privelege of getting to watch participants and students in all of our programs grow through their time with our horses."

Her equestrian experience began as a kid growing up with the family horses - 3 Morgans and a Halflinger Pony. Growing up in Northwestern Wisconsin, her first formal riding lessons were at the age of 10 on the slopes of Whitecap Mountain. She currently boards her own horses at Trinity and enjoys riding, showing locally, and maintenance riding for other boarders. Her equestrian philosophy is one that the horses never fail to express: the best results come from partnership, trust and fair leadership.

Lesson Schedule

Remember, in the winter months the barn & arena are only heated to 42 degrees for the health of the horses, so be sure to dress warm with gloves, boots and jacket (layering is best). Also, if you are unable to attend your lesson, PLEASE call your instructor in advance to avoid being charged for the entire lesson cost. Thank you for your understanding! Because lesson spaces are filling quickly, please book early to obtain a spot that best fits into your schedule.
