This program is at no cost to qualified military individuals and their families. Thank you for all you do and have sacrificed for all of us.

Equine Assisted Therapy(EAT) is...

  • An experiential therapy that incorporate horses to promote emotional and mental growth, healing and learning.
  • A team of a licensed therapist, a certified equine specialist and horses.
  • Great at addressing unfinished business, relieves psychological stress, changes destructive patterns of behaviour and many other issues.
  • An innovative and effective therapeutic approach that has a powerful impact on individuals, youth, families and groups by addressing a variety of mental health and human development needs

Why Equine Assisted Therapy?

  • 82% of EAT participants showed significant improvement after five seasons - Mann and Williams (2002)
  • They were also reported to have previously failed to make any progress during conventional methods of therapy.
