Special Event Helpers
Frequently we are in need of extra hands and feet to help with events for: BB/BS, Boys & Girls Club, EC Academy, United Cerebral Palsy, Luther Social Services, and Adaptive P.E. Help is sometimes needed during the day, evenings and even weekends. You pick what works for you and anything helps us. Call 835-4530 for info on upcoming dates.
Barn Helpers
If you don't mind getting your hands dirty and love being a real help, then let me tell you…there's a shovel and fork with your name on it! Barn helpers assist in cleaning stalls, watering horses and sweeping floors and more. Call Jan for available volunteer spots and info at 835-4530.
Photography and Videography
If you are comfortable behind the lens, snapping that shutter or helping people feel comfy in front of the video cam…we need you to help us build our photo album and video library.
General Handyman and Maintenance Crew
If you like to swing a hammer, dip a brush, sink a post, split a log, mow a lawn, drag an arena, plow some snow, dump the trash…we need you desperately.
The Tidy Tiffany Crew
Ohhhhhh, what an important crew this is. This is the one that makes sure everything is in its place and looking good in the lounge and bathroom. Tidy, dust, sweep, and arrange. It's not something that takes hours but it is so noticed. If you like a tidy ship…this is the crew for you.
Fund Raising Team
If you are a go-getter and not afraid to talk with people or, better yet, have experience in fund raising, please consider helping us build the Healing with Horses scholarship fund, the Kids Kamp scholarship fund and general TEC grants.
Being a Trinity volunteer, you can qualify for TEC logo-wear, riding time and an invitation to many special events. You are our lifeblood. Thank you!

A Testimony from a Trinity Volunteer!
I just wanted to drop you a quick note giving you an update and letting you know how much I miss you all! After graduation, I took a full-time position with the 2012 U.S. Women's Open (golf) in Kohler, WI. I work with corporate programs (companies who pay to be in skyboxes/special access/etc.). This position came as a result of the internship I did with them for the 2010 PGA Championship. Before I left for my internship last summer, Amy (Pranger) told me to make sure I made Kohler connections--I definitely have! I now live in Sheboygan, WI.
I think about Trinity and the people there on a VERY consistent basis (also because Cruz happens to be the background on my phone). I've done a bit of searching and have yet to discover anything even close to Trinity in this area. My horse and volunteer urge is getting to be a bit intolerable! I miss having a direct effect on people and their lives along with the direct effect Trinity has had on me.
I wanted to let you know how much you have affected me and my life. I don't know that I ever appropriately thanked you all. When I came to you a few years ago, I was looking for a way to keep horses in my life through college. Having had volunteer work always be a part of my life, I counted that aspect as a huge bonus. Finding a place that combined two of my biggest passions was a miracle in itself, but never did I expect to be so thoroughly touched and changed by the work that Trinity does.
I feel so honored to have been able to be a part of you team. Leaving that farm was so difficult because I felt I was leaving a family, a safe haven, a place of pure acceptance and understanding. The beauty of Trinity and its work is immeasurable. On a daily basis, you change people's lives. Miracles really do happen there and I am so grateful to have been a part of it.
Being a part of your team allowed me to stick to my core values, passions, and faith that so many people my age lose during the whirlwind that is college. I had always had a Christian faith and an affinity for helping others. I had also always felt that everyone deserved/s a chance to be equal, heard, and understood; however, in our society, those values are often challenged (much to my frustration). My time with you assured me that there are people who care, people who believe in equality and opportunity for absolutely everyone. You brought my passions and values to a whole new level. Trinity is a standout part of my college "era," if you will. It shaped my four years into more than just a bunch of classes that led to a degree (although that's good too!). My heart and soul are forever changed. If I thought I had reached my capacity to love and accept others, Trinity showed me there is no capacity.
I hope all is well with each of you and the Trinity crew. Although I have my doubts, I'll be sure to let you know if I find a place that affects me as much as you all have!
Love and God Bless!!
Anna
